Friends of Honduran Children is a local grass roots  registered charity that has been working with a Honduran partner Sociedad Amigos de los Niños, assisting orphaned and abandoned children in Honduras for 20 years.  This event's fundraising proceeds will directly support their Playground Restoration Project: raising funds to purchase and build a new playground for the orphans.
